2004, Maxwell Render become the first commercial unbiased spectral physics-based render engine, inspiring others to follow.
2006, Next Limit is awarded two Information Society Technology (IST) prizes for the development of the products RealFlow and Maxwell Render.
2008, Victor Gonzalez, Ignacio Vargas, and Angel Tena obtain a Technical Achievement Award by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, for their contribution to the film industry.
2009, Next Limit is awarded a “Segundo the Chomon” prize by the Spanish Film Academy for the pioneering work in simulation tools for the film industry.
